“Schlossing” – Water painting without water, created on a recycled laminated building sheet, strengthened and waterproofed for permanence.
This technique involves pouring, finger-painting, and using gravity to guide thick liquid poster paints. Layers are sun-baked for texture and contrast, then sealed with multiple coats of automotive clear acrylic lacquer to ensure longevity. The process results in a multi-layered vision — in this case, ten separate paintings transcending into one final expression.

“LAKE ONAMI” is my subconscious vision of a secluded mountain lake high among the snow-capped peaks of Japan. The tranquil waters reflect an ethereal landscape of graceful pagodas, arched bridges, and flowering apple blossom trees — all bathed in the warm glow of a brilliant red Japanese sun.

The composition evokes a sense of spiritual calm and timeless beauty, capturing the harmony between nature and human creation that defines traditional Japanese aesthetics. The stillness of the lake contrasts with the majesty of the surrounding mountains, creating a dreamlike balance between serenity and strength.

This vision celebrates peace, purity, and reflection — a meditative glimpse into the soul of Japan as seen through the subconscious eye.
