Signals_014 is a large aluminium panel finished in imitation gold leaf. Engraved lines run across it from edge to edge, crossing and overlapping until no single path can be followed. For centuries, gold leaf marked what a society held sacred. Here it frames the way we live now: a dense web of ideas, opinions and identities, constantly crossing and competing, carried by the flow of digital information. The work treats this tangle as the defining image of a secular age. The surface still shines, but it no longer tells you where to look.
