Reality lives in each of us in a very different perspective, contradictory and abstract. That is what draws me to search for who we are and what we are and how to transfer this sense onto the canvas. Through abstract ambiguity, I endeavor to explore these pursuits.
As every artist, I am trying to find my own little truth, to bring it from the inside out. When I start a painting, I don't know where I'm going. It is just a traveling until I reach a whole new place and see a painting that I’ve never seen it before. It is an intuitive quest for me although behind the seemingly random brush strokes a conscious process of composition is what I aim. I draw my own mind while the sense of space becomes time and time becomes image.
I was born in 1974 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It all started for me with my education at National High School of Applied Arts in Sofia, than continue to New Bulgarian University with bachelor in fashion design. I am a member of The Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA). Through the last 20 years, I have been working in advertising sphere as a graphic designer and art director. I have recently participated in several group exhibitions and considering an upcoming solo show.
