I am an Italian-Swedish artist based in Sweden. My work develops through painting, where gesture is repeatedly interrupted and reconfigured. I work mainly with acrylic, charcoal, oil pastel, wool and textile threads on canvas, building surfaces that shift between control and release, density and openness, structure and disobedience.
My background in science continues to inform the way I work - not as a subject to illustrate, but as a way of thinking through tension, process, and material behaviour. I am interested in how a painting can hold contradiction: softness and force, intuition and analysis, instability and form. Wool and textile threads are central to this language. They do not decorate the surface; they alter it, acting as a line that binds, interrupts, resists, and redirects the image.
