This is a watercolor of a used bookstore in Korea.

There is a whole bookstore neighborhood in the city of Incheon. We were fortunate enough to have a guide. The first stop was the flagship Abel where I stood across the street and painted this storefront.

Abel Bookstore is one of the oldest and most culturally significant bookstores in the Baedari Bookstore Alley, serving as a half-century fixture that embodies Incheon's literary heritage and community spirit. This bookstore has true significance.
- Historical Legacy: Opened and operated for ~50 years starting in a development threatened building and now settled in the current location.
- Cultural Hub: Runs "Poem Attic" (Abel Gallery) on its second floor, hosting monthly book exhibitions, poetry readings, and poet meetings every last Saturday.
- Community Education: Holds "poetry recitals" in its annex since 2007 with the theme "You are all poets," inviting renowned poets.
- Book Collection: Leader of Baedari district with many old books spanning from the largest collection of quality second-hand art books I've seen, to music, technical books, children's collections, and dictionaries.
