This painting depicts the joy and liveliness of summer in a light-hearted and playful way. The air balloons and butterflies convey a feeling of being carefree, of joy, lightness, freedom and pure beingness. The warm soft shades of yellow, green, and orange evoke warm sunlight, blooming meadows, and the vibrant colours of a bright summer day. Although the colour palette has a delicate and soft quality, the various colour accents and flowing lines create a joyful and lively atmosphere. The many curving lines and playful shapes representing the light movements of the butterflies and air balloons, make the painting feel full of movement. This creates a sense of energy and liveliness while preserving the light and airy character of the artwork. Overall, the painting conveys summer, joy, lightness, and playful energy. Like a gentle invitation to embrace the spirit of summer, the painting encourages the viewer to open their heart to lightness, playfulness, and the carefree joy that lives within.
