Solo Exhibition Terms and Conditions For Artists
- PARTICIPATION FEE AND EVENT PROMOTION:
1.1 The Artist acknowledges that the participation fee is non-refundable if the Artist decides not to participate in the exhibition;
1.2 The Gallery agrees to promote the event on its social media pages and newsletter;
1.3 The Gallery agrees to organize a vernissage with a maximum duration of three hours, which will include the provision of drinks and the services of a professional photographer;
1.4 The participation fee shall be mutually agreed upon between the artist and the gallery;
1.5 The artist agrees to deposit 50% of the participation fee to secure the spot. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the first day of the exhibition;
- AGENCY; PURPOSES:
2.1 The Artist appoints the Gallery as the agent for the Artworks consigned under this Agreement for the purposes of exhibition and sale.
- ACCEPTANCE OF ARTWORKS:
- ARTIST'S WARRANTIES:
4.1 The Artist warrants that they possess unencumbered title to the Artworks and that their descriptions are true and accurate.
4.2 The Artist guarantees the originality of the artworks and ownership of all related copyrights.
- DIGITAL ASSET RESPONSIBILITY:
5.1 The Artist is liable for delivering digital files according to the gallery’s requirements at the time of completing this form. Files delivered later will not be used.

10.1 This agreement may not be changed, modified, or altered except under full agreement between the Gallery and the Artist.
- EXHIBITION LIMITATIONS:
- INTEGRITY COMMITMENT OF THE EXHIBITION:
12.1 The Artist acknowledges that once an artwork is selected for exhibition, it cannot be withdrawn before the official conclusion, except under exceptional circumstances with prior agreement.
- DELIVERY AND PICKUP RESPONSIBILITY:

14.1 Artworks must be delivered and picked up in suitable packaging and conservation conditions, with any damages immediately reported to the Gallery.
- COPYRIGHTS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:

16.1 The parties agree to keep confidential all information obtained as a result of this contract.
- GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES:
17.1 This contract is governed by Portuguese law, and any conflicts will be settled in the court of Viana do Castelo.
- FINAL PROVISIONS:
18.1 This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
