Against an enveloping darkness, a poised figure reaches towards a small illuminated window, only to find her shadow arriving first. The scene captures a suspended moment between curiosity and apprehension, exploring intuition and the mysterious threshold between the visible world and whatever may lie beyond it. It is of course open to the viewer's interpretation, but I like to think of it as a magic time window.
