Sator is the epithet of Jupiter, the father of the Gods, but also of Saturn, the Roman deity of agriculture and harvest, and in the Middle Ages the term was adapted into Christianity to refer to God the Father or Christ. Whichever deity Sator designates, the Priestess is the one who celebrates and honors him.
