“Mirror” explores the moment of confronting your own reflection and not fully recognising what you see. She looked at herself and saw fear. She could only recognise herself in fragments. In one eye, she saw her reflection. In the other, she still could not. Created entirely by hand using black ink and the stippling technique, the image is built from thousands of individual dots. She was not yet ready to look at herself completely.
