"Saiga" is part of my series "Vanishing Archetypes: Spirits of Central Asia," exploring the metaphysical essence of nature beyond mere illustration. These endangered species are living archetypes of the steppe and symbols of a vanishing natural spirit.
My practice of "internal alchemy"-a return to art after twenty years in the corporate world-and Kundalini Yoga inform this work, viewing the Saiga as a resonant vessel of energy rather than a static form. Using a multi-layered technique where structural precision meets expressive deconstruction, I have created an "energetic portrait" to evoke the creature's fragile yet powerful presence. This piece reflects the deep connection between the wild earth and human emotion.
Note: Shipped rolled in a tube; ready for stretching upon arrival.
Width: 116 cm
Height: 144 cm
