Silent Garden is a colored pencil drawing inspired by Tulipa humilis as I saw it in a botanical garden in spring. The flowers appeared dense, luminous, and full of movement, almost overflowing beyond the limits of the page. I began this work after a difficult period in my life, when drawing became more than a creative practice. It became a form of art therapy, a quiet place where I could rebuild patience, attention, and trust in myself. Layer by layer, the yellow and orange flowers came to represent the fullness of life returning: not a perfect or untouched life, but one experienced more deeply. This drawing is about choosing joy after hardship, noticing beauty again, and learning to live with greater meaning. The garden is both real and symbolic—a place of memory, healing, abundance, and renewed presence. Each flower carries the energy of continuing, growing, and allowing life to feel vivid again.
