"Irbis" is a special painting from my series "Red Book Animals of Central Asia." In this collection, my goal is to go beyond realistic wildlife painting. Instead, I explore these endangered animals as emotional and spiritual presences.
In this large canvas, the snow leopard (Irbis) appears through layered textures, expressive strokes, and fragmented marks. Through abstraction, I show the two sides of this amazing predator: its silent power and its deep vulnerability in our modern world. To me, this painting is not just an animal portrait. It is my personal tribute to the disappearing guardian of the mountains.
