Or as Zeus, the deceitful, manipulative man who acts as the supreme ruler, who abducts Europa—the woman—rapes her and then abandons her. Along the way, He leaves a trace of his deed — the Bosphorus. The matriarchal dream sees the man/bull very differently. His strength is anchored in the body as a harmonious interplay; the bull will rule only over himself. He is a strong heart that celebrates the beauty of life, a devoted guardian, a watchful presence, a lover, the patient giver. We set this against destruction. My analog paper collage not only works beautifully as the original in 30 × 40 cm, but also as a fine art photo print in an elegant frame, or as a high-quality pigment print on aluminum dibond, coated for protection against fading and dust.
