“Schlossing” – Water painting without water, created on a recycled laminated building sheet, strengthened and waterproofed for permanence.
This technique involves pouring, finger-painting, and using gravity to guide thick liquid poster paints. Layers are sun-baked for texture and contrast, then sealed with multiple coats of automotive clear acrylic lacquer to ensure longevity. The process results in a multi-layered vision — in this case, ten separate paintings transcending into one final expression.

“Macho Man” is my subconscious vision of a muscular, battle-scarred Spartan warrior, rendered in thick, undiluted poster paints — no water, no restraint. The work belongs to a broader series that explores the contrasts of masculinity across the centuries, juxtaposing the archetypal ancient warrior with the contemporary E.V. Man — a modern, effeminate, trans-identifying figure. Together, these paintings invite reflection on how strength, identity, and self-expression evolve over time.

The Spartan stands as a symbol of raw power, endurance, and defiance, one of the legendary 300 who faced an army of thousands in Greece. Painted in a striking blend of gold and silver on a black background, the warrior’s form glows with energy and resilience. Red paint flows downward like blood — a visceral reminder of sacrifice — while his brass and bronze shield captures sunlight and reflects it into the enemy’s eyes, moments before the fatal thrust of the Spartan spear.

For me, this painting is more than an image — it is a mental cleansing, a release from the abstraction and monotony of daily life. “Macho Man” embodies painting as pure emotion — passionate, instinctive, and free.
