🎨 About Me as an Artist My name is Tempoo, a contemporary African artist based in Kigali, Rwanda. I work mainly with acrylic and mixed media on canvas, combining expressive colors, textures, and symbolism to tell stories. My work is deeply connected to African identity, human emotions, resilience, culture, and personal transformation. I’m interested in the stories we carry within us—our roots, experiences, struggles, healing, and the things that shape who we become. For me, art is more than something beautiful to look at. It’s a language—a way of expressing feelings and stories that sometimes words cannot explain. I’m continuously exploring new techniques and ideas while developing my own artistic language. My goal is to create work that connects with people emotionally and brings contemporary African perspectives to audiences around the world.
