Fernando Quevedo

Fernando Quevedo

Fernando Quevedo (1980, São Paulo) is a Brazilian visual artist

who merges classic oil painting techniques with philosophical

and contemporary themes. After years working as a designer

and illustrator for major TV networks in Brazil, he launched his

original artistic career with the work "Neymar The Clown," a

highlight in the Netflix series "Neymar: The Perfect Chaos."

His most recent works address the emotional collapse caused

by social media and reimagine icons of Western thought. With a

vigorous and reflective language, his painting proposes a

rescue of the beautiful and the technical as forms of aesthetic

resistance in the 21st century.
