Irfan Ajvazi (b. 2001, Pristina, Kosovo) is a Kosovan artist, curator, and designer currently based in Germany. His artistic practice is primarily rooted in figurative painting, drawing, and visual storytelling. Ajvazi’s paintings explore memory, atmosphere, landscape, still life, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Working primarily as a figurative painter, Ajvazi creates interior and exterior scenes, landscapes, still lifes, and figures. Alongside painting, he produces highly detailed colored-pencil drawings and has also explored collage and other forms of visual art. His process frequently begins with photographs, film stills, spontaneous visual observations, and references from art history, which he reassembles into carefully constructed compositions.

Ajvazi describes his artistic approach as a dialogue between realism, perception, and emotion. His work is influenced by artists including Richard Diebenkorn, Wayne Thiebaud, Fairfield Porter, Alex Katz, Giorgio Morandi, and Edward Hopper, as well as the Dutch Old Masters. Since 2020, Ajvazi has participated in numerous international group and solo exhibitions, with presentations involving galleries and art platforms in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Canada, South Korea, the United States, and other locations.
