Johnny Rao is an Italian artist born in 1978 and currently living in Switzerland.
His artistic research has developed independently, outside traditional academic paths, through continuous experimentation with color, texture, and visual language. His work is mainly rooted in contemporary abstraction, combining urban and expressive influences that transform emotions, experiences, and everyday observations into open visual narratives.
Although he has been creating art for many years, since 2024 he has begun sharing his work more actively through online platforms, exhibitions, and contemporary art projects. During this journey, his artworks have attracted interest and appreciation from gallerists, curators, and art professionals.
