Born in Barcelona in 1957, I am a self-taught visual artist specializing in acrylic painting and mixed media. My work is a personal exploration of landscapes and natural textures, drawing upon Impressionism and Expressionism. I aim to capture not merely the image of a setting, but the atmosphere and energy conveyed by the natural world. I also use abstract art to express emotions. I love combining cool and warm tones—a signature element of my style.
I like to add a physical dimension to my pieces, which is why I incorporate mixed media; using textures and relief allows me to emulate the density of sea foam, the ruggedness of coastal rocks, and the sand of the beach. Through these seascapes, I invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a sensory experience, evoking the sound, movement, and vastness of the ocean horizon. I am fascinated by the ocean's duality: its capacity to convey profound calm alongside an unleashed, ever-changing power. Recently, I have begun experimenting with watercolor painting. I generally work in my studio, drawing inspiration from my memories and photographs.
My work has been exhibited internationally in various art galleries, primarily across Europe (Paris, Zurich, Berlin, Basel, Cologne, Milan, and Palma), as well as in the Americas (Miami, Quebec, Granada) and Asia (Dubai).
