Paola Pandalone
Pao Pandalone is an Italian-born visual artist based in Madrid, Spain. Her practice centres on hand-drawn work created entirely with black ink through the meticulous technique of stippling.
Working point by point, she explores drawing as a space for observation, patience and introspection. Her work investigates themes of identity, vulnerability, transformation and perception, often creating open narratives that invite personal interpretation.
With a background in Psychology and Criminology, Pandalone is particularly interested in human complexity, emotional processes and the tension between what is visible and what remains hidden.
Through thousands of individual marks, her drawings explore the relationship between image, time and perception, creating contemplative spaces in which the viewer is invited to pause and reflect.
